I had coffee with a friend the other day. I ordered the coffee, and noted that there was sugar already on the table, but when the coffee arrived, and I had to ask for milk. A moment later, the server brought the tiniest pitcher I had ever seen. I think Sydney’s tea-set pitcher is bigger! The coffee cup is normal sized and the sugar is huge. Infer what you will about Japanese coffee habits. Enjoy this photo!
Here’s what I consider an “only in Japan” moment. In very few places in the world can a business place a rack of bags of coffee out on the street and not fear for their safety. It’s one reason of many that I love it so much here. Happy Holidays, a little bit early!!
